Hawk by Ronie Kendig

Hawk is the second book in The Quiet Professionals Series. Staff Sergeant Brian “Hawk” Bledsoe is all military. Hawk finds himself running for his life with two women and children in tow. He must battle subzero temperatures, a blizzard in the mountains and unknown attackers hunting him down. When Hawk finally battles his way to a shelter in the storm he finds it was a communication center. Whomever had been in residence has been intentionally targeting his team. The Raptor team has been plagued with faulty information, lured into death traps and targeted with bombs. Now that Hawk is separated from his team with information that can destroy his team, he needs to make a crucial decision who will he choose to protect. Those in his care or his brothers-in-arms. This was an intense, fast paced, military thriller of internal sabotage, corruption. I found faith was an ever present part of this story. I enjoyed the thrill of the chase, the intense drama and the total commitment of all the members of the Raptor Team. I would recommend “Hawk” to anyone who likes reading a Christian mystery with suspense in a military setting.

Thanks to Netgalley for a gift copy of this book in exchange for my honest review which I have given.
