The Christmas Star Bride (12 Brides of Christmas #10) by Amanda Cabot

The Christmas Star Bride is #10 in the 12 Brides of Christmas series. Esther Hathaway has dedicated her life to caring for her niece and running the family bakery after her sister and husband die. The story takes place in Cheyenne, Wyoming Territory in November of 1885.. When her niece starts planning a Christmas day wedding the tradition is to have a miniature painting done for the newlyweds. Esther commissions Jeremy Snyder to paint the couples portrait and as they get to know each other, while Jeremy paints in the comfort of the bakery, they both discover the magic and wonders of Christmas. This Christmas romance wasn’t just the usual young people romance, although the young couple was the reason for the wedding portrait. This was an older couple who had both lost their first love due to war and the Battle at Gettysburg and now have found romance later in life. I really liked this story and found it the perfect mix of faith, family and romance. I was gifted a copy of The Christmas Star Bride for my honest opinion from Barbour Publishing which I have given.
