To Capture Her Heart by Rebecca DeMarino

With a Spiritual thread throughout the book I found this book a wonderful mix of history and family. The strong faith and devotion of the community was well written. There was murder, kidnapping, Indians, struggles of life and a romance to capture Heather Flower’s heart. This community was close after traveling across the ocean together and starting a new home in a new land. I found the Horton family so real and loving. I enjoyed reading this story of family, faith and struggles in a new land. I’d recommend this series, I feel like I’m reading a diary of the Horton family saga.. I liked the book and I’m looking forward to the next one!

To Capture Her Heart

To Capture Her Heart

~ Love, Legends, and Lore! ~
Rebecca DeMarino writes love, legends and lore as a historical romance author and lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She inherited her love of baking and gardening from her mother, a love of horses, reading and writing from her dad, and the wanderlust gene from both parents. Her travels have taken her from Alaska to Nebraska and Florida, from Long Island to England and Italy, and from Washington DC to Texas, California and Guam. But usually you can find her at home, enjoying her grandchildren and baking crisp little ginger cakes. From Publisher’s Weekly ~ DeMarino’s … strong suit is recreating history and relating it to readers. You can also find her at http://www.RebeccaDeMarino.com, @RebeccaDeMarino, on Facebook and Pinterest.
