Put on Your PJs, Piggies! By Sydney Hanson, a childrens book

Put on Your PJs, Piggies! By Laura Neutzling with Illustrator: Sydney Hanson is a cute little children’s book. My toddler grandkid’s were instantly attracted to the cute glittery cover and pointed out all the fun things they liked. The playful pigs in Bedtime Barn don’t want to go to sleep and this little board book has interesting  rhyming and delightful illustrations as we read about how they are preparing for bedtime.

Book Description:

It’s PJ time at Bedtime Barn, but the piggies want to keep playing! Get your little ones ready for bed with Put on Your PJs, Piggies!, a giggle-inducing story that will convince even the most stubborn bedtime resisters to cuddle up for sleepy time. Children will love the sweet artwork, silly characters, and sparkly glitter on the barn-shaped cover.

The playful pigs in Bedtime Barn don’t want to go to sleep! Will they ever put on their pjs and settle in?

“I want to play!” squeals the littlest pig.

“The sun’s still shining bright!”

“Let’s have a chase!” one pig cries out.

“We’ll never say good night!”

Put on your pjs, Piggies!

If your little ones insist they aren’t sleepy, make bedtime more fun by curling up with this playful story. Once the playful pigs hit the hay, your sleepyheads will realize that bedtime isn’t so bad after all.

The cute animals are realistic yet cartoonish. The rhyming is a fun sing song and a delight to read. My grandchildren liked the animals and corrected me as we read. Big Trucks, A nice board book for Children

My little ones love the reflective windows on the “Yellow” truck and lots of pages to make the Vroom, Vroom sounds of trucks.  The touch-and-feel elements do increase sensory development and the simple rhymes were fun to read.

Jesus Inspires Me by Missi Jay

28767050“Jesus Inspires Me” is a coloring and activity book. I was excited to review a companion book to Graham Blanchard’s “Knowing My God” board book series. This activity books also features the familiar faces of the Knowing My God book series. This is a delightful coloring and activity book! Full of bold drawings, Bible verses and activities to keep a young person interested. I liked it so much I colored the prayer page at the back as a surprise for my grandchildren to find. May the Lord bless you and keep you.. Numbers 6:24 was a wonderful way to end this delightful book. I was gifted a copy by the Book Club Network for review…
