Put on Your PJs, Piggies! By Sydney Hanson, a childrens book

Put on Your PJs, Piggies! By Laura Neutzling with Illustrator: Sydney Hanson is a cute little children’s book. My toddler grandkid’s were instantly attracted to the cute glittery cover and pointed out all the fun things they liked. The playful pigs in Bedtime Barn don’t want to go to sleep and this little board book has interesting  rhyming and delightful illustrations as we read about how they are preparing for bedtime.

Book Description:

It’s PJ time at Bedtime Barn, but the piggies want to keep playing! Get your little ones ready for bed with Put on Your PJs, Piggies!, a giggle-inducing story that will convince even the most stubborn bedtime resisters to cuddle up for sleepy time. Children will love the sweet artwork, silly characters, and sparkly glitter on the barn-shaped cover.

The playful pigs in Bedtime Barn don’t want to go to sleep! Will they ever put on their pjs and settle in?

“I want to play!” squeals the littlest pig.

“The sun’s still shining bright!”

“Let’s have a chase!” one pig cries out.

“We’ll never say good night!”

Put on your pjs, Piggies!

If your little ones insist they aren’t sleepy, make bedtime more fun by curling up with this playful story. Once the playful pigs hit the hay, your sleepyheads will realize that bedtime isn’t so bad after all.

Candy Apple Blessings by Maddie Frost

This little board book has bright fun colored pages. The rhyming is easy to read and each page has fun things to explore. I liked the message it gave and my youngest grandchildren are at the stage that we practiced animal sounds throughout the book. I find that it’s one they seem to really like and want read over and over. This is a cute book to show how we enjoy and thank God for the Fall season.

I received this book free from the publisher through the BookLook Bloggers book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own and voluntary.

Knowing My God Series by Callie Grant ~ For Children

There are three board books in a sleeve that are written for children ages 0-7. Bright, bold colors, great pictures of animals, nature and kids. The bible verse and a paragraph telling about the picture and verse were simple yet descriptive. I liked how these books will grow with a child, any time I can share God’s word with little ones in even the smallest of ways is a blessing. These books do that. They help plant the seed. I really like these little books and I am very pleased to find this in Callie Grant’s books. The Knowing My God Series Starter Set is an excellent way to introduce the child/children in your life to Jesus.
